The next tab would be labeled pedigree index. It is used to find a specific individual among hundreds of pedigree charts. In RootsMagic 4, we have not found the option that was in the earlier version to print the MRIN number by the marriage date. This would be a quick reference to those individuals on your direct line. However, as seen previously, RootsMagic 4 prints an index of the MRIN numbers and you can opt to print that list in order by MRIN or in order of the name, or other options.

The next tab will be an alphabetical (alpha) index which is frequently used to find cousins, collateral lines, and potential relatives not directly related or showing up as yet on the pedigree charts.
