When printed, the family group record number (MRIN) (in this case #2) would follow the main title "Family Group Records" in the notebook. In the notebook, all family group records from number 1 though the number of families in your database would be place in numerical order. In this case, the printout for Walter Washington DAVIES and his wife Mabel MORRIS would be filed behind the tab labeled 2.

When it comes time to file copies of original documents, images, newspaper clippings, and other sources that relate to family #2, those documents would go behind the family group record behind tab 2 in the notebook. Also, any documents for unmarried children will be filed behind MRIN 2.
